We managed to get a back-haul government 747F cargo charter into Hanoi, Vietnam on October 20th, fully load it and get into Pittsburgh, PA on October 21st, where it was customs cleared prior to arrival and in our customers DC the next day!

New York – The International Air Transport Association (IATA) presented its proposals for December’s climate change talks to the UN Secretary General’s Summit on Climate Change in New York. The forum takes place in the run-up to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC) meeting in Copenhagen this December. The aviation sector is united in calling on world leaders to retain a global sectoral approach to reducing aviation emissions under the leadership of the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO), working in cooperation with the sector through IATA.

SAN FRANCISCO—In response to a recent joint letter to Representative James Oberstar (D-MN), chairman of the House Transportation and Infrastructure Committee, by the Natural Resources Defense Council (NRDC) and the Sierra Club, The National Industrial Transportation League (NITL) refuted claims made by the environmental interest groups that the NITL opposed the Clean Trucks Program of the Ports of Los Angeles and Long Beach.
